Rewinding to January.... Golden Delicious is now 18! An adult! She came home from BYU for the weekend to celebrate with us. Her floor mates gave her a lovely birthday down at school, complete with a princess crown, floating lights, breakfast in bed, a lovely cake, and nice notes.
We made her strawberry shortcake (her personal dish... in fact I could probably just call her Strawberry). But, as per Wadsworth tradition, we were out of candles so she had to use one large candle instead :)
Then, we decided we should also have chocolate cake with real candles.... so we did!
