I amaze myself sometimes. I just got done canning 51 quarts of peaches (the things I do while Mr. Bechtel is gone) My saintly friend came and helped me for a few hours and then my mom came over and we did some of her peaches and then forging ahead canned some tomatoes.
Georgeous, huh? Those people who can dozens of bottles nonchalantly will not appreciate this, but anyone who knows me will know this is a major accomplishment.
So, yes, I am bragging for just a minute. Forgive me please!

Wow! If they taste as good as they look, they're blue-ribbon-at-the-fair quality. And 51 quarts. You'd better plan on eating at least one jar a week...

Well, after reading Clarks blog on Stormy Weather, I think we"ll be very glad to have some of those peaches this winter. They really do look GREAT! Way to go!
