Don't you just love romance? Not the Harlequin kind, although since this is true confessions I will admit to reading the entire Marlboro Man saga at Pioneerwoman.com and loving every second of it. On about chapter 11 I made myself start "earning" the reward of the next chapter or two. (See how I have to motivate myself to do house work? - Load the dishwasher and then you can read another bit. Ok, vacuum the loft and tidy up, then you can check out the next chapter. Sad I know.) Unfortunately I'm now done with all the chapters and so my house is messy again!
But the romance I really love is all about Mr. Bechtel. He's away on business and I HATE IT WHEN HE IS GONE. I feel like half of me is missing. One of my favorite things is that he is so marvelous about asking me out on dates. Our favorite is going on a drive in the truck and stopping for an ice cream cone on the way home. Last week I had a chance to visit all of our old favorite places that we used to go to when we were mere children and just getting to know each other. Things haven't changed much in our dating style except that we used to go for a walk and get an ice cream since neither of us had cars. It was perfect. Isn't love great?
I even found a radio station that was playing old 90's country and realized I was driving down the road with a huge smile on my face. It was so much fun to reminisce.
Hurry home Mr. Bechtel. I miss you.
