Progress continues on our cabin project. I love everything about it so far. In fact, if it weren't for the 6 months of winter I would be sorely tempted to make it our permanent residence. I think it looks traditional and modern at the same time. The goal is to be ready for an open house over Memorial Day Weekend. This is the traditional "opening day" for cabin season and we want to give potential buyers a chance to enjoy the cabin all summer. It will go on the market the middle of May and be the featured "cover home" in the local real estate magazine.

How did you get the coveted "Cover home" status? Perhaps the winesaps and the bechtels should get together for a pre-market weekend bash.
