Well, I have done what any self respecting goat farmer would do when faced with a challenge.... I sold both my problem does that have the "edema" problem, and 2 of the babies who wouldn't take a bottle. So much for perseverance, huh?
Our 5th doe kidded with a buck. (My brother says Henry the 8th should have had our problem), and so we only have one more fat momma. She should kid this week (with 2 does - knock on wood.)

WOW you guys, great blog! I love it. Smart move selling the problem goats. That will make life easier. I'm not surprised by your "kid" gender problem, after all they probably look at your own family as an example of what is acceptable at crabapple farm. After all, goats are really smart, right.
