Happy Birthday Golden Delicious!

14!!! Impossible! Miss G. D. Had a great birthday. First she went sledding with her girlfriends and spent the afternoon doing girlish things, and then she went out to dinner with her Grandpa and Grandma.

After dinner, we all had cake and ice cream (Alta's chocolate cake with Great Grandma R's chocolate frosting) and she opened her presents.

hmmm. Looks like a good present. Her brothers seemed jealous...Happy 14th Birthday, Beauty!

Wolf Moon

January's full moon was the biggest one we will have this year. It certainly looked impressive as it came over the hill.

Winter Camping

Here's proof that the Spy twins should have been pioneers... They set the tent up and have been camping out for several nights. Bhrrrrrr! Jack the Dog has kept them company and they appear no worse for the wear, even though it snowed all night long.

Other Holiday Tidbits

We made Danish Pastry, which actually turned out and was delicious.

Braeburn's Friend debuted his movied at the local theater.

An informal Echo/Aspen meeting, with cream cheese.

Our Puppy, Jack. December 2009

Mr. Bechtel and the boys went to the livestock sale. They didn't come home with any cows... Instead.... they brought home a little puppy. Nova Spy was so in love, he slept on top of Jack's nighttime kennel. It was freezing but he didn't seem to mind.
